I love reading. It’s just that I do not have enough time to read taking into consideration my work and all that jazz. So before I sleep at night, I try to finish at least two chapters of a book or two, thus, leaving myself thirsting for more. As much as I want to, I need to sleep. Although 50% of my work entails reading and reading and reading LOTS of documents and articles, I still take time to read leisurely. I try to catch up with the best books some of my friends would recommend.
A month ago, a lawyer-friend mentioned something about his newest addiction – the HBO mini Series, The Game of Thrones. Judging by John’s good taste, I tried to catch up with the series and was simply smitten by it! I waited patiently each Sunday night for HBO to play two episodes of the series. I tried to get myself acquainted with the characters by reading the wiki page of the series while watching the first and second episodes. I wanted someone to discuss it with, so I asked my sis, who is a bookworm herself, to watch with me as I introduced her to some of the characters. And Blithe became another aficionada. Note: Blithe and I don’t watch TV that much – so we have no idea about this series. Although I’ve read some tweets about it before, it didn’t capture my attention until John mentioned it to me.
Now, since I have given myself the title of “Lady Stark” (Yes! Marry me, Rob! :”), but actually it’s Tony Stark who I like
), I have challenged myself to read the series “A song of ice and fire” by George RR Martin, beginning with the Game of Thrones as book one. Yesterday, I took home these babies:

I also got the recently-released 5th book of the series, in which, you can see is quite bigger from the others, and well yeah more expensive.
